Newcomers on the scene of Harry Potter Airbnbs around the world, Wizard’s Hollow and its sister property – Alchemy, listed below – are both part of the Treehouses of Serenity collection. This Airbnb isn’t as overtly Harry Potter-ish as some of the others on this list – but it does look like a tiny Hogwarts suspended magically above the ground thanks to its ingenious construction.
Inside you’ll find a fully-equipped place for up to four guests, including a full kitchen (no house elves included, sorry!), four-poster bed, and sweeping views of the surrounding Scottish – I mean, North Carolina – countryside.

Alchemy (North Carolina, USA)

Alchemy is perhaps the better-known of the Treehouses of Serenity – perhaps you saw it go viral on TikTok a few months ago? In any case, be prepared for some serious magic at this particular Harry Potter Airbnb.
While it appears to be a small tent from the outside – maybe like the one used by Harry, Ron, and Hermione in Deathly Hallows while traveling around – there’s more than meets the eye in this space (just like their tent). Once inside, you’ll discover a stone slide that delivers you into the main living area with stunning views and full amenities – and a nearby sitting area tent for extra space. It’s hard to describe this property and the photos don’t do it justice, but I promise it’s truly magical!

Two four-poster beds dominate the bedrooms, and even the bathroom maintains the Hogwarts-medieval style. In between adventures in the Alsatian countryside (if you’re an adult witch or wizard, wine tasting is a must!), you can cozy up in one of the squashy armchairs with a copy of Harry Potter.

101 House At The End. Witchcraft & Wizardry House (England)

From the outside, the property looks like another old townhouse in York. But when you cross the door, everything is so Hogwarts. The rich wooden panels, the large gold mirrors, the quirky antiques (you’ll love the potion bottles and paintings of owls). Now, I’d say is the perfect Airbnb for all my fellow Slytherins, but each house has been represented somehow.
The real cream of the crop is that you get to spend the night in the wonderful Emerald Bedchamber, which features a luxurious four-poster bed complete with green velvet curtains. The bathroom is equally Slytherin, decorated with deep green tiles and a gold bathtub. Next to it is the second bedroom – which nods to Gryffindor’s tower – with a bunk bed and red curtains.
Downstairs you’ll find the Victorian Reading Room, the perfect place to reread Harry Potter books. The kitchen screams of Hufflepuff, with a rustic look of brick walls and black appliances.

Gamekeeper Hut (Georgia, USA)

The Gamekeeper Hut truly is a Harry Potter fan must-do. You won’t be able to get over how authentic it all is and the amount of time and effort used to create Hagrid’s hut.
The property is nestled in a private 40-acre location, with surroundings that look very much like the Forbidden Forest. While the whimsical decor and charming touches add to the overall magical, the best part is the entertainment offered!
You’ll have all the Harry Potter movies for a marathon and a scavenger hunt to venture into the darkness of the Forbidden Forest. When the night comes, relax by the fire outside in the giant-sized cauldron while sipping a cold Butterscotch beer.
Details:
- 4 guests, 2 beds, 1 bath
- From $113/night
Chamber of Secrets (Colorado Springs, USA)

Do you have the courage to book a couple of nights at the Chamber of Secrets? No, I’m kidding, this Airbnb is not nearly as scary as the Chamber of Secrets from the movie.
In fact, it feels more like a trip to all the movies and games we enjoyed when we were kids – the secret room, arcade games, and air hockey will be a huge hit with adults and little ones alike!
The Harry Potter details are everywhere. I love the luggage trolley Harry had embedded in the wall. Oh, and The Educational Decrees Dolores Umbridge created hanging on the wall are amazing.
You can come with up to six guests and enjoy the comfort of the house. It features two bedrooms, a common room, a bath, a dining hall, a kitchenette, and a patio with a Blackstone propane grill.
Details:
- 6 guests, 5 beds, 1 bath

Harry’s Hangout (Kissimmee, USA)

I’ll start to wrap up my list of Harry Potter Airbnbs with the magical Harry’s Hangout. This Hogwarts-themed condo is in Kissimmee, just 13 minutes from the gates of Disney and 35 minutes to Universal Studios.
The property is so well-decorated that you can mistake it for a set from the Harry Potter studios in London. There’s a wizard’s chess, a “Leaky Cauldron” inspired kitchen, and a Gryffindorish dining area. It feels just like you are staying in a room at Hogwarts!
Everyone is welcome here. Muggles, wizards, half-bloods, and even furry friends (up to two, though).

Any true Potterhead who wants to enjoy a full Harry Potter experience knows that a stay in the Potter House is a must.
The De Vere House is the filming location for the Potter’s house in the scene where Voldermort attacked them. It is a top-notch Harry Potter Airbnb and it is located in Lavenham. The De Vere House has two rooms available on Airbnb. They are not explicitly Harry Potter-themed, but as you can see they are magical in their own way! The first one, also called the Lady Howard room, is a single bedroom that sleeps two guests and is perfect for couples and solo travelers.

The second De Vere room, also called the John de Vere Room, is also a single four-poster bedroom that sleeps two guests. This historic accommodation promises to offer an immersive, magical experience to guests.

Hi Valerie
We have a unique home here in Scotland at the foot of Ben Nevis in Fort William which we opened to Potterheads on Saturday. I have attached the Airbnb link. The Jacobite steam train (Hogwarts Express) sits at the bottom of our garden daily from April to October. Guests can watch the locomotive connect to the iconic carriages outside our home. It truly is a magical experience! I thought this would be of interest of you as a fellow writer to keep you up-to-date with Harry Potter related accommodation. Many thanks, Glynis Lang.
Valerie
Thanks so much for sharing, Glynis! I’ve added it to my list to add your property the next time I update this list!

Hi,
Our family turned our unfinished basement to Harry Potter themed during the Pandemic and while my family is overcoming a big trial in our life. We are located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We didn’t just decorated the entire interior space but our sideyard has the Daigon alley, Black Lake, the triwizard camp A frame tent and Hagrids Hut Little free Library. We have 2 train rides that is just 30 mins away from us which will add magic to their gateway. We named this hidden gateway Secret Chamber of Colorado Springs. We are also 30mins away to the iconic Manitou Springs where real wizards and witches still lives. We will really appreciate if you can include us for your next article
